Pro-rated Refunds for Annual Subscribers Only
Yearly subscribers receive pro-rated refunds when they cancel. Monthly subscribers can cancel anytime to stop future billing.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Annual Subscriptions
Annual Slick Invoices Pro subscribers are eligible for pro-rated refunds when they cancel their subscription. The refund amount is calculated based on the unused portion of your annual subscription.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscribers are not eligible for refunds. When you cancel a monthly subscription, you'll continue to have access to Pro features until your next billing date, after which your account will be downgraded to the free plan.

- Technical issues preventing service use for extended periods

- Accounts with evidence of abuse or violation of terms
- Chargebacks filed without contacting our support first
- Free plan users (no payment to refund)
2. Refund Timeline

Pro-rated Calculation: For annual subscribers, we calculate your refund based on complete unused months. For example, if you cancel 4 months into your annual subscription, you'll receive a refund for the remaining 8 months.

5. Special Circumstances
Technical Issues
If you experience technical problems that prevent you from using Slick Invoices for an extended period, we'll work to resolve the issue first. If we cannot resolve it satisfactorily, we may offer compensation regardless of your subscription type.
Billing Errors
If you've been charged incorrectly due to a system error, we'll refund the incorrect amount immediately, regardless of your subscription type or when the charge occurred.
Duplicate Charges
Accidental duplicate subscriptions will be refunded promptly upon notification, regardless of subscription type or timing.
Extraordinary Circumstances
In cases of extreme hardship or extraordinary circumstances, we may consider refund requests outside our normal policy on a case-by-case basis.
6. What Happens After Cancellation
Account Status: After cancellation, your account will return to the free plan (3 invoices per month) at the end of your current billing period.
Monthly Subscribers:
- Immediate: Cancellation confirmed, billing stops
- Until next billing date: Pro features remain active
- After billing date: Account downgrades to free plan
- Data: No data is lost - you can still use the free plan
Annual Subscribers:
- Immediate: Pro features are disabled upon refund processing
- Data: No data is lost - you can still use the free plan
- Re-subscribing: You can upgrade again anytime

8. Chargebacks and Disputes
Please Contact Us First: Before filing a chargeback with your bank, please contact our support team. We can often resolve issues faster and more efficiently than the chargeback process.
If you file a chargeback:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- We'll provide documentation to your bank showing the charge was legitimate
- The chargeback process can take 30-90 days
- Additional fees may apply from your bank
Better Alternative: Email us first - we typically resolve cancellation and refund requests within 24-48 hours.
9. Legal and Regulatory
