Pro-rated Refunds for Annual Subscribers Only

Yearly subscribers receive pro-rated refunds when they cancel. Monthly subscribers can cancel anytime to stop future billing.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Annual Subscriptions

Annual Slick Invoices Pro subscribers are eligible for pro-rated refunds when they cancel their subscription. The refund amount is calculated based on the unused portion of your annual subscription.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscribers are not eligible for refunds. When you cancel a monthly subscription, you'll continue to have access to Pro features until your next billing date, after which your account will be downgraded to the free plan.

  • Annual Pro subscribers who cancel their subscription
  • Billing errors or incorrect charges (any subscription type)
  • Accidental duplicate subscriptions (any subscription type)
  • Technical issues preventing service use for extended periods

❌ Not Eligible for Refunds

  • Monthly subscribers (except for billing errors)
  • Accounts with evidence of abuse or violation of terms
  • Chargebacks filed without contacting our support first
  • Free plan users (no payment to refund)

2. Refund Timeline

Processing Time: Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Pro-rated Calculation: For annual subscribers, we calculate your refund based on complete unused months. For example, if you cancel 4 months into your annual subscription, you'll receive a refund for the remaining 8 months.

5. Special Circumstances

Technical Issues

If you experience technical problems that prevent you from using Slick Invoices for an extended period, we'll work to resolve the issue first. If we cannot resolve it satisfactorily, we may offer compensation regardless of your subscription type.

Billing Errors

If you've been charged incorrectly due to a system error, we'll refund the incorrect amount immediately, regardless of your subscription type or when the charge occurred.

Duplicate Charges

Accidental duplicate subscriptions will be refunded promptly upon notification, regardless of subscription type or timing.

Extraordinary Circumstances

In cases of extreme hardship or extraordinary circumstances, we may consider refund requests outside our normal policy on a case-by-case basis.

6. What Happens After Cancellation

Account Status: After cancellation, your account will return to the free plan (3 invoices per month) at the end of your current billing period.

Important for Annual Subscribers: When you cancel and receive a pro-rated refund, your Pro access ends immediately. Make sure to download any important invoices or data before requesting cancellation.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

Please Contact Us First: Before filing a chargeback with your bank, please contact our support team. We can often resolve issues faster and more efficiently than the chargeback process.

If you file a chargeback:

Better Alternative: Email us first - we typically resolve cancellation and refund requests within 24-48 hours.

9. Legal and Regulatory

This refund policy doesn't limit any statutory rights you may have under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
